About This Course

Fundamental knowledge of how people work and interact together can make collaboration exponentially more effective. This course is designed to give you a greater understanding of collaboration and ways it can be managed in business today.

As cloud technology increasingly becomes the backbone of collaboration experiences, it is imperative to understand how people collaborate and exchange information. By understanding how people collaborate, you can best select technological tools to support those collaboration efforts across organizations.

You will learn foundational principles for interacting with others, how to define your collaboration style, effective methods for building virtual teams, and the methods to lead within teams.

Christina Singletary

Christina is Senior Content Developer with the Microsoft Learning Experience group, specializing in SharePoint product and services. She has leveraged the power of SharePoint since its inception and has served in every role pertaining to the product. She holds a Masters of Business Administration in both Project Management and Marketing, and is currently working on completing her PhD in Information Technology with a focus on Collaborative Tools and Machine Learning.

Michael Upton

Michael Upton is a Senior Strategy Consultant at Logic20/20 Consulting who specializes in helping clients capture strategic growth opportunities, particularly in emerging technology spaces. He is well-versed in consumer and commercial technology trends, and attends CES annually as an Industry Affiliate.

Following his undergraduate education from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington, Michael started his career at Goldman Sachs and later transitioned into buy- and sell-side M&A investment banking in the Pacific Northwest. His past clients span across a variety of technology-related businesses, including CRM technologies, productivity software, aerospace/aeronautics, retail, health care technology, and online learning.

At Logic20/20 Consulting, Michael works with clients to identify growth opportunities and navigate key decisions related to product pricing, geographic focus, market segmentation, and market sizing. Additionally, Michael holds trainings and information sessions around Seattle area on effective uses of specific technologies related to collaboration and productivity.
